In May 2008 City flatshare and Pad Residential joined forces to create Padshare Manchester. Pad being a well established brand with super efficient administration and state of the art technology was the perfect fit to aid the expansion of the Manchester Cityflatshare rental model.
The founder of Cityflatshare Gary Hymanson discovered that it was more efficient to manage and multi-let suburban terraced houses by the room rather than leave the tenants to their own devices. Taking this principle to the City the development of the concept began after a chance meeting with a Landlord in October 2003. The owner's 3 bed City Centre apartment had remained empty for over six months. It was agreed that the apartment would be best marketed as a multi-let and in two weeks the property was fully let.
