Available Properties
How to use this guide
The following apartments represent just part of our portfolio. Please call or email us to check availability.
Our portfolio of one and two bedroom properties is spread evenly throughout the city centre.
If preferred we can also rent in the traditional way whereby you the tenant pay the bills. However when we arrange a flatshare it is essential that we meet all prospective new tenants prior to recommending a particular apartment from our portfolio. We are not simply letting an apartment but also assessing whether the dynamics of the personalities will be in tune. Therefore at this stage it is not necessary for you to search a database in the traditional way. Take it for granted that all our apartments are clean, fully furnished in good taste and in the most sort after centrally located buildings. Call us and we will immediately tell you the availability of our rooms to rent.
In essence this guide will describe the character of each city district, show you the various locations of our properties and the monthly rental cost inclusive of all bills and Council Tax.
We feel it is important to give you an idea of how long it takes to walk from an apartment building to the city centre. We have decided to use Kings Street [off Deansgate] as our central destination point.
FINANCIAL DISTRICT
Since the emergence of the superb Spinningfields Corporate Development the dynamics of the city’s financial district has shifted ‘south’ of Deansgate. This has had a knock on effect in where the new smart city professionals wish to reside. Speaking to our tenants we have learnt that after a long hard (12 hour!) working day they want to be home in the shortest time possible. We call it the five minute rule.
As you would expect life in the financial district is all about convenience. The best restaurants, retail stores, cinema, gymnasiums not forgetting bars. The Living Room flagship bar began life on Deansgate. Panacea [on John Dalton Street] is home to the Manchester glitterati. Mojo, one of my favourite bars [situated just behind House of Fraser] is where ‘real’ people drink and the music is rock indie both old and new. This is a very vibrant area to live in with new bars and restaurants opening every other month.

ROSSETTI PLACE
4 Minutes walk to Kings Street - M3 4AN
True City living on Quay Street off Deansgate, 24 hour Concierge service with full CCTV monitoring. The build quality of Rossetti place is only matched not beaten. Pure white fully integrated fitted kitchen leading to open plan living room leading to balcony double doors. The bathroom is like a Roman Spa. For such a central location the apartment is very quiet and feels very safe at street level.
There is also a small quaint hidden walled park across the road for those lazy summer afternoons (Weather optional!). In addition one of Manchester’s top three restaurants the now famous Akbars Indian is a five minute walk away on Liverpool Road…..don’t ask, just go it is amazing. Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Starbucks and the Opera House are all just two minutes away. UCI cinema and Virgin Gym just a five minute walk away. THE HACIENDA
8 Minutes walk to Kings Street - M1 5WG

The Hacienda is full of Manchester Legend. Situated on Whitworth Street West, the land was the site of the former Factory Records pioneering club of the same name. The late Tony Wilson ran his music empire from here launching bands such as New Order, Happy Mondays to name but a few. Even Madonna had a gig at the Hacienda. The early 90’s bore the ‘Madchester’ years which lead the way for the UK’s rave dance culture. Now the only reminder of its former life is a section of the dance floor on the wall behind the concierge.
Built by Crosby homes another Manchester pioneer with attention to detail and a high quality throughout. The rear of the building enjoys balcony views over the canal away from all the hustle and bustle of city life. As the Hacienda was one of the first city developments to be built the apartments are very spacious and the rooms are larger than present day buildings. The location is not exactly in the financial district but more on the way to the Oxford Road following the inner ring road. Even so the location is still considered to be very central and as well as being near to all the regular amenities it is close to the Hilton Hotel, the G-Mex and the Bridgewater Hall home to Manchester’s Philharmonic Orchestra.

The second standard double bedroom £575.00

NUMBER 1 DEANSGATE
2 Minutes walk to Kings Street - M3 1AZ
Will have some new photos soon for this building

In my opinion Number One Deansgate is the undisputed premier residence in Manchester. Also known as ‘Celebrity Towers’ it is located above Harvey Nichols department store and adjacent to Selfridges and Marks & Spencer’s flagship store. It just doesn’t get better than this. If you are fortunate to live on the East side of the building then you can expect unrivalled views of Manchester’s most famous landmarks.
It is also fair to say that Number One itself is one of Manchester’s foremost landmarks. It was this building that literally put the now world renowned architect Ian Simpson on the map. His use of inverted V shaped key support struts being first used to effortlessly sustain a mass of fourteen storeys of glass and steel.
The apartments are true floor to ceiling glass encasing a pure white fully integrated kitchen. The bathrooms have very clean lines and are finished in Philippe Starck
chrome. With the balcony situated between two walls of glass running along both sides of the apartment it has a truly unique inside outside space.
The large double master bedroom £700.00
The second standard double bedroom £675.00
Prices are per month inclusive of all bills and Council Tax.
All apartments have en suite shower room plus a second guest bathroom and balcony.

CASTLEFIELD
The Castlefield area was one of Manchester’s first urban renewal projects. It takes its name due to the site being the location of Manchester’s very own Roman Fort. It is now a hive of activity both for business and recreation. It is the home of architects, software houses, telecoms and also Manchester’s premier radio station Quay 103. It boasts one of the cities best summer bars, Dukes 92 famous for its BBQ’s and huge stone baked pizza. We say summer bar due to its large outside seating area and the fact that it actually gets the sun rays till the end of the day.
The canal locks, old lock keepers house and waterways all add to the nostalgia. Castlefield will remind you of Covent Garden and New York with the Metro shooting past high above on the arches. [Ok maybe pushing it a little there but it is ‘cool’]. Castlefield also Hosts the annual Deepercussion dance music festival.

BARTON STREET DEVELOPMENT
7 Minutes walk to Kings Street - M3 4NA

Located at the top of Liverpool Road two minutes from the Deansgate Hilton Hotel and just five minutes from Rossetti Place. Barton Steet is on the city side of Castlefield. As the Barton Street development is close to Rossetti it also shares the same superb local amenities. Residents also have the use of a secluded courtyard and with just sixty apartments the development has a very private feel. One side of the development overlooks a small park area and the original Manchester Roman Fort entrance. I have to mention that the one of Manchester’s hidden gems the ‘Fish Hut Chippy’ is also located on Liverpool Road at the entrance to Barton Street. Do not worry the gym is very near too! With two cracking local pubs on its doorstep this is a very sort after residence.

HILL QUAYS
8 Minutes walk to Kings Street - M15 4QU

Hill Quay is a very modern development and situated by the Deansgate Locks on Whitworth Street West. The Locks became famous for the notorious The Sugar Lounge club the ‘stars’ chosen after party venue. Manchester’s famous Comedy Store can also be found in one of the Locks’ arches but this row of bars has become more a student hang out than the city prof. bar of choice.
Hill Quay has only recently been constructed. The build quality is excellent and the apartments are clean fresh and spacious. It will take you only eight minutes to walk to the City Centre.

NORTHERN QUARTER
- “THE NQ”

Of all the districts the city has to offer this one interests me the most. It may be a little noisy in the evening, a bit run down in places and full of “Odd” named bars however this all just adds to the charm. If you were thinking of buying an apartment to live in and hope to make a future capital gain, then you should buy in the NQ.
It really does have a London Soho stroke New York Greenwich Village (obviously without the ‘Village’ part) feel to the place. It has that anything could happen edgy mood. The residents are your more creative, media muso types that set the trends and give an artistic direction to a city. With new art and photo galleries, bars, cafes, clubs and restaurants popping up every few months it has become an area for easy living and imaginative expression. Take a walk round and check out Blue Bar, Odd Café, Sohio Rehab and the famous Matt and Phreds jazz club on Tibbs Street….nice one! So in all would we live there? … too right!

Melia House
15 Minutes walk to Kings Street - M4 4AX
19 Lord Street off Cheetham Hill road.

The Green Quarter has grown and grown. The concept was to create a new city village complete with grassed areas and water features. The development has proven to be a major success for Manchester with a luxury hotel and office complex to be added in 2008. Two of the apartments under our management happen to be the superb penthouses located on the tenth and eleventh floors. The development is adjacent to both Victoria Train Station and the Manchester Evening News Arena. It is a 7 minute walk to the Printworks which boasts a state of the art cinema, bars and restaurants such as Wagamama and Nando’s.

PICCADILLY

NAVIGATION HOUSE
A large duplex Penthouse apartment 12 Minutes walk to Kings Street
20 Ducie Street Manchester - M1 2DP
The area of Piccadilly is always very dynamic mainly due to the convergence of British Rail, the Metro and Bus Station. However in the summer Piccadilly Gardens is a peaceful place and a real Mecca for city employees to eat during the lunch hour. The Garden is the largest public open space in the city surrounded by offices retail and all the major banks. In addition it is the new location headquarters for the Bank of New York, which recently moved lock stock from Canary Warf. Thus emphasizing the importance of Manchester as the UK’s premier regional employer outside of London. Bruntwood Developments have also been very busy in the redevelopment of One Piccadilly and the Piccadilly Hotel showing their support for the area. Piccadilly is also home to Manchester’s world famous China Town which is packed full of nightlife and also on Sunday the Chinese buffet day.

The penthouse apartment at Navigation House is very spacious and filled with light. Its large size allows for a separate kitchen more reminiscent of a house than apartment. The exceptional views look out over the basin, canal waterways and on a clear winters day the snow peaks of the Derbyshire Peak District. In all this is truly a superb city residence with a rent offering great value for money.
The master bedroom of the duplex is very private and situated on its own upper floor. It comes complete with its own stairwell and separate bathroom and two further storage rooms. One almost feels like the master bedroom is a separate flat within an apartment.
