Company History

In May 2008 Gary Hymanson of City Flatshare and Ian Waxman of Pad Residential agreed to join forces to create Padshare Manchester. Pad being a well established brand with super efficient administration and state of the art technology was the perfect fit to aid the expansion of the Manchester Cityflatshare rental model.

The founder of the original CityFlats, Gary Hymanson, has been involved in all aspects of property development and management since early 1990. Gary discovered that it was more efficient to manage and multi-let suburban terraced houses by the room rather than leave the tenants to their own devices. Taking this principle to the City the development of CityFlats Manchester began after a chance meeting with a Landlord in October 2003. The owner's 3 bed City Centre apartment had remained empty for over six months. It was agreed that the apartment would be best marketed as a multi-let and in two weeks the property was fully let. Always keen to spot a new trend Gary then decided to explore and develop the multi-let concept in the city centre of Manchester. The success of the company has been simply due to treating people as equals, hard work and using the unique multi-let tenancy concept employed by CityFlats Manchester.
